The great return!

Hey lads,

  Yeah, I've been majorly busy recently. I came back from doing volunteer work in Spain last week, it was an amazing experience. Definitely doing it again next year. I met soo many amazing people, and I am definitely keeping in touch with them.

  I haven't been able to part with my guitar lately, although I did go through a break up with my boyfriend. Got a little rebound on holidays, had some fun. I don't feel that bad about it now.

  A couple of days ago though, I was being unfair to one of my ex's. And karma came back, like a bitch. I got messed with. And it hurt. I stayed up until 6am drawing, because I couldn't do anything else. I was shaking with anger and hurt 'till morning. This is what I came up with..

Hey guys!

I'm so busy lately, I'm bearly even home. I'm tired, and I'm having such a great time on holidays. Yesterday, my mom found my little mannequin! That just made my day even better. Of course, I wanted to just use it just to get the idea of it again so I painted it, yet I know how to use it to paint people and all that. I just felt like actually painting a mannequin. So apart from that, well I'm just really busy. I finally finished my wall, and I like the look of it. My boyfriend was in my house for the first time a couple of days ago and he's just shocked at my room. So, I think I did a good job at decorating it. :)

I still have my sleeping problems, after all I woke up at 6am today, texted my boyfriend and came on to blog. I'll be getting up soon enough to go for a shower, and I'm heading out with the girls later on in the afternoon. I miss the girls so much! I didn't get to spend any time with them lately and I haven't even talked to some.. I feel bad about that, so I'm really trying to catch up with them now.

That summer shade..

Sorry!

I know I haven't been updating much, I'm really busy now. I've finished my exams and my summer has started. I'm trying to keep on going with my art and photography, while helping my parents, and also looking for a job.

Recently, I got back together with my ex, and I don't think I could be happier. It's amazing, really. We spent ages together, and I even took a lil pic when he let me wear his converse. Too bad I didn't have my camera..

I'm heading to Dublin tomorrow, and I really need to get some sleep. So I'm off now, but I'll update properly soon.

That last one

Well,

  I don't know what to say! I'm finally finishing 1st year, the time just flew! I'm trying to study for my exams but it's just not working..
  Every day, I say to myself
"Ok, I'm going to study now, I need it."
 10 minutes later
 "Eh, I can do it tomorrow."
And it's the same every day! My exams start on the 28th, I don't know how I will manage. My art teacher decided not to give us an exam, but he will grade the painting project and also let the average of our grades through the year influence our final grade. I had a little look at my grades in his journal, all A's!
  I'm soo happy, I need as much A's as I can get. My parents expect really high standards of me.

  I really should go now, I WILL study!

Last assignment :)

Hey guys,

  This term, we are doing a painting project. We're doing surrealism, in a realistic fashion. I had some tough time trying to compose an original idea, which expresses my thoughts on the world. Finally, I went with a ruling idea.
  My thematic idea was..
"The world isn't always beautiful. It can be controlling and leading into disliked occurences, even to the luckiest and highest of people, life doesn't care. We are all equal in it's eyes".
   This led me to paint a scarred and scary in appearance puppet, controlling a beautiful girl, who has been changed into a puppet by it. The puppet represents life and the girl represents humans. It shows how if we don't take control, life will and it possibly could turn out for the worse.
   Unfortunately, I'm not finished it yet, so I will leave with that little teaser. But I must say, I think it's my best work yet, and I'm truly proud of it. I hope to post it up soon. :)

The tip of your finger, the top of your life

Life is like nails. You can wear fake ones, u can paint them over to conceal the imperfectness, or you can take your time and spend it on treating them, so they are just the way you want them. We all know people who are fake, who hide their true selves, and those who work hard to achieve their goals. This is what had inspired me to draw this.

The artistic shortage

Heyya all :)

So, I'm just here, in my room trying to do my art homework. Not going so well, I'm totally un-inspired! Plus, I was at my best friend's birthday last night, so I'm tired and sore all over. Totally worth it. Too bad I have to skate 3km later on for a frisbee game. Help!

Back to my main point, I have no idea what to draw! My art teacher gave us a free hand on the homework this week, we can draw anything as long as it's in full colour sketch. I was thinking of maybe taking my sketch pad to the game and draw a frisbee, but it's so windy outside, I don't think it's a good idea.

How about some ideas? Anything is welcome, I accept all cryteria gratefully. :)
 This has to be done by Thursday morning.

A little starter

Hey guys!

I'm going to start this off with a simple little thing.
 Has anyone ever noticed, how even the simplest thing, such as a plastic bottle, can be so complex? We take it for granted, and nobody even notices its beauty. The shape, reflections, colours, shadows, everything. Nothing is ever purely one thing or another. Everything has a certain set of characteristics to it, and it's all unique.

Just to prove my little point, here's a sketch I did of a bottle for art homework :)

( Yes, I rushed the logo because it was late when I was doing this, and my parents started giving out. :P )

This is the start, of my great blogging return! This particular one, will be about my art experiences, my assignments, and some hobby photography too. Hope you all enjoy it, and I look forward to sharing my experiences.   :)

Just as a little intro, here's a little picture, which I drew in Religion today. It's nothing big, 15 minutes of work. It's a bit rushed, because I didn't have much time.   :)
